Before the background that GIZ will slowly but surely reduce the number of international and German experts in Afghanistan, the competencies of national staff and experts shall be increased. The training programme will start with a first workshop on "Creative and proactive approaches to problem solving and decision-making".

APPLICATIO will be planning and implementing a one-week workshop and additional online coaching in October 2016.

The projects will be evaluated against the OECD-DAC Criteria and CapacityWORKS-Success Factors and in one case include the planning of a next project phase.

UNAM logoAPPLICATIO has been contracted by GIZ to support the University of Namibia (UNAM) or more precisely the "Centre for eLearning and Interactive Multimedia (CeLIM)" in its further development towards a leading department for technology enhanced learning. The Centre thus far offers e-learning courses, audio-visual classrooms, video-conferences as well as a multimedia studio and is now on its way to develop an implementation strategy for the coming three to five years.

The participants of the GTI Secretariat originate from China, Mongolia, Russia and Korea and will be enabled to make best use of tools and skill for the development of terms of reference and develop offers and applications for project.
